With the announcement that a Remotely Piloted Aircraft (drone) command center will open at the Horsham Air Guard Base (located in Montgomery county, Pennsylvania) in October local activists from all parts of the political spectrum came together and swung into action. On April 27, 2013 about one hundred protesters marched to the base's main gate and held a rally they called Drone Free Horsham.

The problem with these checkpoints is that they're warrantless, arbitrary searches. This goes against all standards of civilized behavior and is not tolerable in a free society. Not only are checkpoints violating our rights they're not effective.

Hiroshima Day Protest 2011 King of Prussia, PA (video)

The Brandywine Peace Community strikes again, this time protesting against Lockheed Martin building parts for nuclear missiles on the anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan during World War II. The protest went well with speeches, music, and the use of crime scene tape to block the entrance. The civil disobedience squad was arrested trying to deliver documents to Lockheed Martin.
