John Graham, Director of Giraffe Heroes International, has lived a life of high adventure. He shipped out on a freighter at sixteen, made the first ascent of Mt. McKinley’s North Wall at twenty, and hitchhiked around the world at twenty-two. A Foreign Service Officer for fifteen years, he was in the middle of the revolution in Libya and the war in Vietnam. In 1980, a near-death experience on a burning cruise ship pushed him to a deeper sense of purpose. Since then, John has used his vision and experience to help thousands of people find the meaning of their lives through service.
